VALE RACES & DOG SHOW (POINT TO POINT)

The Vale Races & Dog Show (previously known as the Vale Country Fair & Point to Point) is on Saturday 11th April 2020 (Easter Saturday) at Maisemore Park, Maisemore, Nr Gloucester, GL2 8HX. This is 3 miles NW of Gloucester near the A417. This will be our second year at this venuee having previously held it at Andoversford. Maisemore Park is also the venue for the already established "Gloucester Races" which is 2 weeks earlier on Sunday 29th March 2020 . See www.gloucesterraces.co.uk for details of this event.

Maisemore Park is a beautiful setting on the banks of the river Severn with excellent viewing of the whole course.

This is a great family day out with plenty for all the family. Bring your dog (but keep it on a lead please). Enter your dog in the Family Dog Show and race your terrier in the Terrier Racing. Watch the races, browse the trade stands, buy food and drink (there is a licensed bar) or bring your own picnic.

Point to Point horse races are amateur horse races run over fences
